Group Sessions

To feel truly healthy and full of energy, we need both inner calm and physical strength.

Neuromuscular relaxation - train your ability to quickly enter a state of calmness

Neuromuscular Relaxation is a gentle yet powerful method to release high levels of stress and deep-seated tension, guiding you into a state of calm. By engaging the nervous system through slow, mindful movements and targeted relaxation techniques, it helps regulate the autonomic nervous system, shifting the body from a state of hyperarousal to recovery and restoration. Firstly, this process relieves immediate discomfort by lowering cortisol levels and reducing muscular tension. Over time, it strengthens the mind-body connection, helping you cultivate long-term balance, stability, and inner peace.

Through repeated practice, these targeted activations of muscles and bodily senses strengthen neural pathways, fostering greater neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new connections.

In the case of NR, we strive for the immediate stabilization of the nervous system, where healthier patterns are formed between neurons, allowing you to experience not only an ultimate state of calmness but also a general sense of trust and openness to the world—the feeling that everything is going to be fine and good.

Practicalities:

Everyone can participate, regardless of age or physical condition. The session lasts 1.5 hours. We don’t perform exercises; instead, we slowly transition between simple body positions on the mat, either sitting or lying down, holding each position for 3–7 minutes. We use a variety of supportive materials such as bolsters, blankets, blocks, and pillows to provide weight, comfort, and a general sense of a nurturing, nest-like experience for the body. There is always extensive hands-on support and personalized adjustments to bodily positions.

Relaxation music, aromatic oils, and herbal tea are always part of this relaxation experience.

Neuromuscular yoga & breathwork - build up your strength and energy

Neuromuscular Yoga & Breathwork integrates traditional Hatha yoga with the latest insights from biomechanics and neuroscience, optimizing both movement efficiency and nervous system function. By engaging muscles with intentional activation and controlled breathwork, this approach improves physical stability and functional strength. Additionally, it regulates autonomic nervous system responses, reducing stress and improving emotional resilience. As a result, you will experience increased energy, improved mood, and a deeper sense of well-being, creating a sustainable foundation for both mental and physical health.

Through repeated practice, these targeted activations strengthen neural pathways, fostering greater neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new connections.

The difference from Neuromuscular Relaxation is that Neuromuscular Yoga & Breathwork is an activating, energizing, and strengthening practice with a lot of movement.

We focus on your core muscles, as well as the inner diaphragmatic muscles that bring you to a state of deep centering and stabilization. Only from this state of fundamental centering we do postures/asanas. It is a constraint approach to yoga, where you are entirely focused on the sensation of inner stability and comfort. You don’t push the limits of your comfort zone to get stronger; instead, you expand your comfort zone and go beyond perceived limits with a sense of ease and joy.

Practicalities:

The session lasts one hour. Exercises are active and performed standing and sitting for a few breaths. Supporting materials are always available. We start with 10 minutes of breathwork and abdominal self-massage, followed by a sequence of postures, and conclude with 5 minutes of deep relaxation.

Note! It is better not to eat a big breakfast beforehand and to keep the stomach empty. Coffee and a bit of fruit are okay.
